The early part of the run has smelled very berry-like. Not what I was expecting, though I never eat Trix cereal so I'm a poor judge. As we approach the end of the run, the corn notes are starting to come through. It's interesting how different smells and tastes come out at different parts. |

Started 13 liters of apple cider a few hours ago... airlocks beginning to show that fermentation has began And tonight, I'll distill my "Trix Cereal" wine (~18L water, 700g Trix cereal, 3kg sugar, yeast nutrient) notes on smell and taste will come.... |
